 mont Quintet! David Fromont is a young trombonist from the city of sails m
 aking his Wellington Jazz Festival debut this year with his jazz quintet. 
 Having an ear for everything\, David will be putting on original compositi
 ons and classic jazz arrangements while mixing experimental trombone explo
 rations and true-to-tradition jazz quintet playing. Featuring in his band 
 is Samuel Voyle on the saxophone\, Ryan Tomov on the piano\, Finn McNeill 
 on the drums\, and Minjoon Kim on the bass. Expect the unexpected (and a l
 ittle of the expected as well!) with the David Fromont Quintet at Undercur
