 a Brundibár was performed by children imprisoned at Theresienstadt over f
 ifty times\, while Lori Laitman’s Vedem draws from the underground liter
 ary magazine written by teenage boys in the same ghetto\, boys who chose t
 o make art in the most impossible circumstances imaginable. Conductor Whit
 ney Reader and stage director Kaley Karis Smith lead this production\, whi
