 \nBorn in Whitehorse\, Yukon\, Kate Reid's love for country music began at
  an early age. Inspired by legends like Terri Clark\, Leann Rimes\, Shania
  Twain\, Dolly Parton\, Sara Evans\, and Reba Mcentire\, Kate would often 
 serenade her neighbors from her backyard swing set with her renditions of 
 their favorite songs.\nNow a country singer/songwriter based in Calgary\, 
 Alberta\, Kate's powerful voice and relatable songwriting have set her apa
 rt in the Canadian country music scene. With a career that continues to gr
 ow\, she has headlined iconic stages\, including Ranchman's\, and earned a
 ccolades such as the Best Original Song award at Ranchman's Rising Star Co
 mpetition. Her single "Bang" hit the Top 10 on the Canadian Indie Country 
 Countdown\, and she has performed at numerous festivals and venues through
 out Alberta.\nKate has had the privilege of working with renowned industry
  professionals\, including Stephen Shiveley\, Charlotte Avenue Entertainme
 nt\, Jordan Craig\, and Grant Howarth. In 2021\, she released her debut si
