DESCRIPTION:Sphelelo Mazibuko is a studio engineer\, drum technician and a 
 music educator from Johannesburg\, South Africa.\nHe was born in a family 
 musicians. His father and siblings are all musicians. He began playing dru
 ms at the age of 14. Mazibuko attended University of KwaZulu-Natal where h
 e studied a BA in Music and Media studies. He also studied music and drumm
 ing under the guidance of respected jazz educators Neil Gonsalves and Bruc
 e Baker.\nHe has performed and recorded as a drummer with many accomplishe
 d South African artists thus earning him exposure. The names of the artist
 s he has worked with includes: Idols winner Lloyd Cele\, Dorothy Masuka\, 
 jazz reedman Steve Dyer\, Mthunzi Namba\, late gospel sensation Sifiso Ncw
 ane\, Standard Bank Young Artist Award recipients Bokani Dyer\, Shane Coop
 er\, Benjamin Jephta\, Siya Makuzeni and Nduduzo Makhathini as well as Con
 cord Nkabinde.\nMazibuko’s freelance work has taken him to all corners o
 f South Africa and Virginia in the US. Some of the events he has performed
  at include the annual International Cape Town Jazz Festival\, Macufe Musi
 c Festival\, Durban Jazz Festival\, Midem (France)\, Jazz Ahead (Germany)
 \, Musique en ete (Switzerland)\, Joy of Jazz\, to name a few.\nMazibuko i
 s also a member of a progressive musical band called Africa Plus. He also 
 runs a Production Company – Anavo Pro\, which offers live music entertai
