 \\*\\*\n\nHana Stretton is a British/Australian composer\, singer and prod
 ucer known for her remarkably warm production style and uniquely spacious 
 songform. In 2023\, her debut album\, Soon\, earned a beloved status among
  discerning listeners around the globe. This stunning work caught the ear 
 of one Phil Elverum\, who lovingly reissued Soon through his own label in 
 2024\, furthering the album’s reach and deepening its reputation. In the
  press\, Elverum said: “I hear an artist who has entered completely into
  the stream where creation originates \\[…\\] Hana Stretton has truly re
 corded the deep flourishing sound of a quiet listening mind in full blosso
 m.” A fitting testament to a young artist rooted in the stillness of nat
 ure.\n\nFrom the dusty Australian bushland on Soon\, Stretton transports t
 he listener to the Pacific Ocean on her new album\, tiarn (set to be relea
 sed summer 2026). Shifting gradually like a shoreline\, her new compositio
 ns reveal welcomed hints of classical and electronic flourishes. tiarn wil
 l be released independently with vinyl editions through PW Elverum & Sun (

 UK).\n\n\\*\\*\\*\n\nHeather Stebbins is a sound artist and educator based
  in Washington\, DC\, where she is Associate Professor of Electronic and C
 omputer Music at George Washington University. She works with sounds creat
 ed by instruments\, found objects\, nature\, and voltage to generate music
 al experiences ranging from notated works for chamber ensembles to improvi
 sed performances on modular synthesizers. Really wonderful people and ense
 mbles perform her music internationally\, and she is grateful for that.\n
