DESCRIPTION:The Dance Centre presents the Global Dance Connections series\
 nWen Wei DanceLast SoloWen Wei Wang began dancing in China\, where the exp
 ressive language of the hands\, arms\, and upper body shaped his artistic 
 voice. As he grew older\, he came to understand his sexuality and how deep
 ly it influenced his life and creative journey. Now\, returning to the sta
 ge as a senior artist\, he reflects on memory\, mortality\, and the connec
 tion between body\, mind\, and the universe. Created with visual and sound
  artist Gary James Joynes\, the work brings a live modular synthesizer and
  vocal performance together with analog video. Sounds and images transform
  the space into a meditation on life and presence.\nPresented through the 
 Artist-in-Residence program\n\nDuration: 60 minutes\nPost-show artist talk
 back October 24\nPlease note that we are not able to admit latecomers afte
 r the show has started\, to ensure the safety of the performers.\n\nAccess
 ibility: This performance takes place in the Faris Family Studio\, our int
 imate black box theatre space\, which is wheelchair-accessible. When booki
 ng tickets\, patrons who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids should sel
 ect the ‘accessible’ seat type to ensure seating in the front row whic
 h is stair-free: limited spaces available. There are wheelchair-accessible
