DESCRIPTION:Mind Bath is a vocalist\, producer\, writer\, performer\, DJ\,
  and shapeshifting storyteller whose work blurs the boundaries between mus
 ic\, literature\, and myth. Raised in a small town in the BC Rockies\, his
  creative voice was shaped in solitude\, attuned to nature’s divinity an
 d the inner worlds it unlocks. His output - lush with queer poetry\, left-
 field production\, and intimate vocals - has positioned him as an undergro
 und darling favourite\, with a practice rooted as much in spiritual devoti
 on as it is in sonic exploration.He first garnered critical attention with
  his 2019 debut album Baby You Can Free Your Mind\, described by PAPER Mag
 azine as “soft\, emotional\, and stirring.” It was streamed over 5 mil
 lion times worldwide by people who cried and made love to it. Since then\,
  Mind Bath has continued to create a distinct body of work that cultivates
  deeper listening and transformation.Now\, Mind Bath enters a new era with
  Aqueous\, his most ambitious and fully realized project to date: a concep
 tual literary-musical work comprising his debut novel and a companion full
 -length album\, set for release in September 2026. Aqueous expands his vis
 ion into a multidimensional universe\, one that invites audiences not just
  to read and listen - but to experiment\, reflect\, and evolve.Aqueous is 
 a psychedelic odyssey through the land of queer fantasy and mysticism. Par
 t auto-fiction\, part perverse hero’s journey\, where an effervescent st
 ardust boy cuts a hole in the sky and wakes up in a utopic new land\, far 
 removed from the oppressive\, dusty dominions of the violent world on Eart
 h\, in search of healing and liberation.Conceived at a radical faerie gath
 ering in Vermont\, Aqueous was written in a tent\, on Zipolite’s Playa d
 el Amor\, on a cowboy’s couch in Texas\, in his teenage bedroom in Ferni
 e\, BC\, and a small Parkdale attic - where he transcribed dreams\, memori
 es\, and recorded interviews with chosen family. Aqueous is exquisitely ed
 ited and guided by his long-time collaborator\, June Moon (Forever)\, of F
 lower Tattoo and Cafe Lanai lore.The story was brought to life musically i
 n a cottage on Lake Waseosa\, at an altar built to honour music. Mind Bath
  read chapters aloud\, and then the band would jam. A band centred around 
 Mind Bath\, Ouri\, Forever\, and Nick Ferraro\, with additional contributi
 ons from artists such as the legendary Beverly-Glenn Copeland. It is a gen
 re-defying sound\, playfully dubbed “Canadian fag-folk\,” that channel
 s the same emotional and spiritual transcendence as the novel.Aqueous was 
 completed over a two-year residency at Camp Flirty\, a secret gay cabin in
  the woods. But much too cute and full of promise to stay hidden\, he has 
 returned to Montréal\, where this story began\, to publish the book with 
 Metatron Press and release the album via Lighter Than Air. Mind Bath is ve
 ry much looking forward to seeing how the project shapeshifts with an audi
 ence\, and to the day somebody turns Aqueous into a film or a stage musica
