Before the Drumsound\ncombined with t he Bassline\, the first chapters of their story were already written.\nYou see\, Simon Bassline Smith had been doing this for years before the team- up with\nDrumsound. Coming up in the early eighties heyday of rare groove funk and soul\, he's\nbeen intimately associated with the UK underground m usic scene as it evolved from\nsoundsystem-led blues parties\, to raves\, festivals\, and mainstream acceptance.
