 ost-hardcore ensemble that has quickly drawn attention since forming in la
 te 2024. The band was born from the collaboration of vocalist and songwrit
 er Joshua Paynter (Milwaukee\, WI)\, drummer Joshua Day (Cardiff\, Wales)
 \, and bassist Nicholas Laguna (Tucson\, AZ).\n\nDrawing from a diverse ra
 nge of influenses - spanning the raw intensity of Drug Church and Fugazi t
 o the art-rock edge of Queens of the Stone Age and the melodic pull of Bli
 nk-182 --Life Hoax blends these sensibilities into a sound that carves out
  its own distinct niche.\n\nSince August 2025\, LIfe Hoax has been releasi
 ng singles that explore interpersonal themes and a subtle mystique rooted 
 in the Sonoran Desert. The mid-tempo "Quiet Lines" shifts between post-har
 dcore and post-punk\, confronting unspoken truths\, shared burdens\, and u
 nacknowledged blame.\n\n"Bloodsuckers" is a scathing indictment of the Ame
 rican healthcare industry\, propelled by raucous guitars\, thunderous drum
 s\, and surfy basslines. "Fixed Draw" channels the band's namesake with an
  anthemic power-chord chorus featuring chants of "life is a hoax\," while 
 its verses depict a reality in which truth and illusion can no longer be r
 econciled.\n\nThough still in its infancy\, Life Hoax has already begun ma
 king strides on stage. Their performances are marked by a visceral intensi
