DESCRIPTION:Over the years\, Peter White has maintained a reputation as on
 e of the most versatile and prolific acoustic guitarists on the contempora
 ry jazz landscape. Armed with an unparalleled combination of lyricism and 
 energy\, he combines elements of jazz\, pop and classical guitar to create
  a sound that is singular and at the same time accessible to a broad audie
 nce. At age 20\, White was invited to tour England\, Scotland and the US w
 ith Al Stewarts band\, opening for artists like Linda Ronstadt\, Billy Joe
 l and Queen. That experience kicked off a twenty-year association with Ste
 wart\, touring and recording hit albums like Year of the Cat. After fiftee
 n years as a backup musician and a session player\, White launched his sol
 o recording career with the 1990 release of Reveillez-Vous\, a favorite am
 ong contemporary jazz radio stations. He maintained an ambitious release s
 chedule through the 90s and beyond\, and found time to appear on recording
 s by many of his friends\, including Dave Koz\, Rick Braun\, Richard Ellio
 t\, Jeff Golub\, Lee Ritenour\, Kirk Whalum\, and Boney James. In a career
  that spans nearly four decades\, over a dozen solo recordings and countle
 ss performances\, White insists that its the faces in the crowd and the fa
 ns that keep the experience fresh. His 2026 tour showcases his most recent
  album Light of Day along with favorites crossing 50 years of music.All GA
