 Ewan Bleach) as well as Little Rumba - The Velvet Violin returns with a re
 laxed\, cabaret style evening that features songwriter\, accordionist and 
 singer Louisa Jones alongside clarinettist and saxophonist Ewan Bleach. Th
 ey deliver a fascinating blend of original and quirky songs. The music cov
 ers all sorts of references to folk\, ragtime\, blues and beyond with an a
 lmost Gallic feel at times - reminiscent of the sound you'd hear drifting 
 straight out of a sleazy Paris basement. There's an element of understated
  humour - the answers to the questions of the universe allegedly being con
 tained within the quivering chords of 'Whiskey Spirit' while "There's a de
 ad dog in your bed" is a memorable line which reflects the slightly off ki
 lter nature of their venture. The evening also features the actual band Li
 ttle Rumba\, rather than just a picture of them on the website (sorry abou
 t that) and of course the legendary Velvet Violin Quiz. The Velvet Violin 
 crew have been entertaining people in this format since 2014\; their name 
 was inspired by mention of an underground London Club featured in Downton
