DESCRIPTION:Formed in 2008\, the Scott Reeves Jazz Orchestra is comprised 
 of 18 of New Yorks most acclaimed jazz musicians\, including vocalist Caro
 lyn Leonhart and saxophonist Steve Wilson. Scott Reeves is a veteran NY tr
 ombonist and Professor Emeritus at the City College of New York. He also t
 aught at the Juilliard School\, Indiana University and other colleges. The
  bands repertoire\, all scored by Reeves\, consists of arrangements of wor
 ks by Shorter\, Corea\, Jobim\, as well as standards and originals. The ba
 nd has released two records on the Origin label Portraits and Places and W
