 western genre bending and description defying bands on the scene for as lo
 ng as most can remember. Over the span of 3 full length original albums an
 d multiple EP releases\, and the legendary Live in the Loop live album\, c
 ountless tour stops throughout the midwest\, countless mind blowing experi
 mental and improvisational jams while being a must-see\, high energy late 
 night fixture on the festival circuit\, their legendary Madahoochi Monday 
 parties at Ciceros\, and more Madahoochi has created a legacy and culture 
 of joy and community amongst their loyal following.Over the last 30 years\
 , there have been incredible hi-lights and unforgettable moments with the 
 Hooch. In a time where the festival circuit was vast and impressive in the
  midwestern portion of the country\, Madahoochi was a key part of several 
 of these large- scale\, multi-day events\, including raging sets at Wakaru
 sa\, 10K Lakes\, Salmon Fest\, and MoRoots. Who could forget the amazing s
 ummer night under the Arch opening for Little Feat in front of an amazing 
 throng of St. Louis music freaks on the steps and by the river?. We could 
 fill pages with fond memories of these amazing musical moments. The legacy
  and lore of the Hooch grew with their hi-wire act and legendary live perf
 ormances which were built around the amazing original catalogue of music a
 s well as their undeniable synergy and chemistry with the audience.Like an
 ything that is finely crafted and pure\, that takes time\, effort and cont
 inuity. So. just try to imagine having a weekly Monday night musical resid
 ency in a basement venue room in a low ceiling club every monday night for
  years starting at 9pm in a dark shotgun room packed full of frenzied fans
 \, friends\, local musicians\, curious onlookers\, industry folks drinking
  on their night off and more all singing along and losing their minds.. EV
 ERY Monday night. For years\, thats exactly what Madahoochi did with their
  Madahoochi mondays at Ciceros. Playing high energy\, multi-set\, and orig
 inal shows that were so vibrant and important that several of those shows 
 were recorded and later released as the Live in the Loop album. You can he
 ar the audience screaming and calling for more between songs over and over
  again. Its a glimpse into the mysticism and magic of a time period in the
