DESCRIPTION:As we approach the incoming Holiday Season\, we invite the comm
 unity to join us in transforming the Smith-McDowell House on Saturday\, No
 vember 28th from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sunday\, November 29th from 11 a
 .m. until 3 p.m.! We will be offering a variety of tasks on the grounds an
 d around the 1840 historic home. Whether you are hanging wreaths\, placing
  poinsettias\, or dressing the tree\, we can use your help!Each Work Day w
 ill begin at 11:00 a.m. and end no later than 3 p.m.. We will offer snacks
  and water to all volunteers. Lunch will also be provided at the designate
 d break time. Each Volunteer to join us will receive TWO complimentary adm
 ission ticket vouchers to visit the museum on any day of normal operations
 . At 1 p.m.\, we will invite Volunteers to break and learn more about the 
 Smith-McDowell House and how their volunteer work makes a difference.Pleas
