  their debut gig in Sheffield they fuzzed with all the charting indie band
 s of the time…..Primal Scream\, Spacemen 3 or My Bloody Valentine. THE M
 OURNING AFTER played a number of wild shows until 1999.Then they disappear
 ed in their caves and graves and nobody knows why but the day came they ra
 ised from their hidden tombs and “TALL\, DARK & GRUESOME” came out on 
 Screaming Apple Records presenting the world again fuzzed up Garage with a
  snotty attitude! In 2024 they released “THE TENTH CENTURY”\, their ma

 d influences as a starting point their sound has broadened and developed f
 rom there.Their songs are lyric driven\, full of characters\, big themes a
 nd melancholic reflections with hooks to stick in your head.With lockdown 
 out of the way they began gigging in 2021 and regularly play gigs and fest
 ivals across the south and London\, to great reception at Haselmere Fringe
  Festival and Guilfest . They have supported a number of well-known bands 
 including The Vapors\, the Chords\, Sham 69\, Chris Difford (Squeeze) and 
 London Calling.Their engaging and energetic performances have led to revie
 ws that include “Pop Punk Modernists”\, “fabulously eclectic mix of 
 edgy songs”\, “Great set\, with hooky songs”\," guitary pop with a l
 ate 70's punky edge "and “the blistering beelines”Four releases\, “D
