 rough the night. They'll be covering some of each others songs and general
 ly working together to put on a completely one-off performance. This show 
 is all about mixing up the gig format\, encouraging artist collaboration\,
  and producing a truly unique experience that has to be seen IN PERSON! Ou
 r performers this evening are T. G. Shand & Death and the Maiden. Doors 8.

 \, shimmery tracks that blur the lines between shoegaze and dream-pop. Des
 cribed as a 'shimmering kaleidoscope of sound' by Back Seat Mafia. Largely
  self-produced by Annemarie Duff\, the project has topped the NZ Alt Chart
 s\, landed the Student Radio Network Best EP award and opened for Blonde R
 edhead. Bringing the tracks to life on stages around Aotearoa\, Hope Rober
 tson is on bass and vocals (of Death and the Maiden)\, Annemarie on guitar
  and vocals\, and a trusty sampler for beats and synth. _________________ 
 Death and the Maiden A three piece band from Otepoti/Dunedin. A rural haun
 ting style of moody electronic grooves\, gossamer vocals\, sonic guitars a
 nd bass that deliver hypnotic sounds leaning into anxiety. They will be pe
 rforming new material in preparation for recording their follow up album t
 o 2024's Uneven Ground. _________________ Who are Flannel Hound? Flannel H
 ound are a promoter and events organisation run as a non-profit. They host
  interesting and odd shows that mix up the gig format\, and they reinvest 
 100% of their profit into the arts community through grants or funding oth
 er shows. When you buy tickets to a Flannel Hound gig you know you are get
 ting a unique experience and directly contributing towards a more sustaina
 ble local art scene! _________________ Our ticketing model: When Neck of t
 he Woods nearly closed its doors in June 2026\, the whole arts scene recog
 nised that the old model of funding venues through alcohol is unsustainabl
 e at best\, and dangerous at worst. That's why Flannel Hound are trialling
  a model which includes a $5 kickback to the venue for every ticket sold. 
 The Flannel Hound Kaupapa is to leave every part of the arts ecosystem we
