 h the ones you love. This gig is an act of sharing.\n\nMathias Kom is the 
 songwriter and lead singer of acclaimed Canadian indie rock band The Burni
 ng Hell. The band’s energetic live shows are legendary\, their songs fil
 led with caustic sincerity. Mathias joins us for a unique show in which he
  both performs a full solo set and introduces us to one of his favourite a
 cts in the world.\n\nFor over a quarter of a century\, Nev Clay has been c
 ultivating a reputation as Newcastle’s best-kept secret. After two album
 s at the turn of the millennium\, Nev held back on further LPs for over tw
 enty years\, instead making regular appearances in some of Newcastle’s m
 ost iconic venues. During this time\, he garnered a devoted following of f
 ans and musicians who would utter his name with reverence: a songwriter’
 s songwriter and one of the country’s underrated gems. In 2024\, Clay re
 leased his first album in over two decades\, the aptly titled So Little Ha
 ppened For So Long.\n\nThis show takes place at the Strines Nightingale 
 – a lovely country pub\, formerly called the Sportsman\, which re-opened
  in autumn 2022. Strines is on the Piccadilly-Sheffield train line\, and o
 n the 358 bus route from Stockport to Hayfield. This show will run until 1
