 voice\, and electronic production into deconstructed songs shaped by avant
 -pop and experimental folk. Her first albums\, ‘Spine’ (2024) and ‘C
 rease’ (2022)\, were released on Constellation Records as Bandcamp Album
  of the Day and received praise from The Wire\, The Quietus\, Le Devoir\, 
 BBC6\, Line of Best Fit\, and Exclaim!. As a compelling voice in experimen
 tal songcraft\, Kee Avil evokes PJ Harvey\, Eartheater\, SOPHIE\, and Lucr
 etia Dalt\, where Juana Molina meets Autechre. Her third album ‘Vapor’
  is being released throughout 2026 on NNA Tapes. She has toured extensivel
 y\, including festivals like Rewire\, Les Nuits Botanique\, A Colossal Wee
 kend\, Pop Montreal\, Sled Island\, Ruhrtriennale\, Le Guess Who?\, Guelph
  and Vancouver Jazz Festival. ‘Vapor is a deconstructed album that I’m
  releasing song-by-song throughout 2026\, a sort of sonic diary. Creative 
 inspiration is often like vapor\, appearing and dissipating quickly. This 
 album represents what inspires me in the moment\, an attempt at capturing 
 fleeting moments of creativity\, and finishing them quickly while they’r
 e still fresh. For me\, it’s a way to let go and make music without thin
 king too far ahead. Once a song is finished\, I move on. I don’t try to 
 link the songs\, each tells its own story. I hope that at the end\, a natu
 ral cohesion appears\, a concept reflecting a frozen moment in time\, a pr

 Lorimier\, est une artiste née et basée à Montréal. Elle explore la ro
 mance expérimentale par la musique\, la performance et la vidéo depuis d
 es millions d'années. Ses compositions s'inscrivent dans une démarche é
 coféministe\, inspirée de rêves et de rituels. Elle se taille une place
  sur la Longue Liste du Prix en musique Polaris en 2023 et 2025\, avec ses
  albums L'eau et les rêves (24 mars 2023 via Mothland) et Nouveau Langage
  (31 janvier 2025 via Mothland)\, ce dernier cité parmi ses meilleurs alb
 ums de 2025 chez Le Devoir\, qui ajoute : « Nouveau Langage évoque l’i
 dée du futur\, entre autres par son recours à Auto-Tune et à l’élect
