DESCRIPTION:Oliver Smith has been described as "an excellent DJ" by Armin v
 an Buuren\, "the best thing to happen in trance" by Mixmag and "sensationa
 l" by DJ Magazine. In recent years the popular UK-based DJ and dance music
  producer has released scores of records and performed at some of the bigg
 est clubs and festivals in the world.\n\nOliver’s forward thinking music
  is regularly played by leading DJs such as Above & Beyond\, Hardwell\, Da
 vid Guetta\, Ferry Corsten and Sander van Doorn. He was the first signing 
 to the Anjunabeats record label and is the only producer (other than label
  bosses Above & Beyond) to have featured on all 13 ‘Anjunabeats Volume
 ’ compilations to date. Oliver has also been highly successful with remi
 xes for the likes of Arty\, Mat Zo\, Seven Lions\, and Maor Levi - all fea
 turing on leading radio and club play lists and flying high in the Spotify
  and Beatport charts. In 2018 he mixed the ‘Anjunabeats Worldwide 08’ 
 compilation\, which includes ten of his own productions. It reached the #1
  spot on the iTunes dance chart in USA\, UK\, Canada\, Australia and more.
 \n\nAs a DJ\, Oliver has played at legendary UK venues such as Ministry of
  Sound\, The Warehouse Project and Wembley Arena\; and at far flung locati
 ons worldwide including America\, India\, and Ibiza. He has also performed
  at some of the biggest festivals in the world such as Tomorrowland\, EDC 
 Las Vegas\, and Creamfields. He is also a regular presenter of Anjunabeats
  Worldwide Radio\, which is broadcast on over 100 FM stations across the p
 lanet.\n\n--\n\nGenix has deep roots in dance music that have helped his p
 roduction career to grow exponentially since his debut release in 2003. Si
 nce then he has become a mainstay of\n\nAnjunabeats\, with other releases 
 on Armada\, Vandit Records\, Enhanced Records and Spinnin Records to name 
 a few. DJing alongside the world’s elite along the way\, he has become a
  huge name in his own right.\n\nA very successful 2024 saw Genix release h
 is second artist album titled YOU.ME.NOW\, a stellar follow up to his debu
 t album ‘199X’ which both led to successful global tour dates around t
 he world from Asia\, Australia\, Europe & USA. The pick of album tracks we
 re played on BBC radio 1 where Genix went on to host his own show as part 
 of an Anjunabeats takeover.\n\nHis formidable sound blends the most vibran
 t elements of trance\, techno\, house and progressive into a potent\, high
  octane cocktail. With a penchant for in-your-face textures and sounds set
  against stunning melody and beautiful atmospherics\, his sound is at the 
 vanguard of the trance movement. Blending reverence for the formative soun
 ds of a 1990s dance music upbringing with the sounds of now\, his tracks a
 re consistently among the most spinetingling in the scene. With no comprom
 ise in his style across his 200+ released singles and remixes\, he is an a
 rtist who is truly dedicated to his scene. Collaborating with and remixing
  the likes of Armin van Buuren\, Above & Beyond\, Gabriel & Dresden and Co
 smic Gate\, he has become part of the fabric of the scene.\n\nHe first fou
 nd fame as a resident and promoter at legendary UK club night Passion\, wh
 ich was one of the epicentres of the ‘90s/2000s trance explosion. Cuttin
 g his name alongside the scene’s biggest DJs\, he amassed a wealth of kn
 owledge and experience that would give him solid foundations for the rest 
 of his career. By the time he turned his hand to production in the early 2
 000s\, he had a keen understanding of what worked on a dancefloor\, giving
  him a huge head start. It quickly became clear that he was as talented in
  the studio as behind the decks\, and it wasn’t long before he was attra
 cting major attention.\n\nAt one point he held the Guinness World Record f
 or the longest DJ set in history\, clocking in at 84 hours. He also recent
 ly broke the world record for playing a DJ set at the highest recorded lan
 d altitude\, playing at Mount Everest Base Camp at 5\,600 metres above sea
  level. He has supported Above & Beyond at epic shows across the world inc
 luding at the New York Expo Centre\, The Gorge Amphitheater in Washington
