 Special guest:\n\nPool Girl is the solo project of Carpinteria\, Californi
 a-native artist and producer Allie Nixon. Raised on her dad’s Beatles an
 d Beach Boys records\, she later found her own sound through 2010s icons l
 ike Passion Pit\, MGMT\, Gorillaz\, Beach House\, and Tame Impala. During 
 the 2020 lockdown\, she taught herself to produce at home\, later adding D
 Jing to sharpen her sense of rhythm\, texture\, and tension.\n\nWritten be
 tween California and France\, her debut album Melancholic Beach Town (out 
 September 18\, 2026) is a bittersweet love story to Carpinteria woven from
  patient basslines\, drifting synths\, and surf-tinged guitars. Entirely w
 ritten and co-produced by Nixon\, it follows her debut EP Trophy Wife (3M+
  streams\, Fresh Finds\, Lorem\, Ones To Watch\, Wonderland\, COLORS).\n\n
