 : Suspicious Liquid are a four-piece stoner/psychedelic rock band from Yor
 k\, known for their smoke-filled\, theatrical live rituals and fluid comma
 nd of genre. Moving between ethereal haze and primal\, fuzz-soaked weight
 \, they craft soundscapes charged with mystic intensity. Their debut album
  Suspicious Liquid by Suspicious Liquid\, released November 8th\, distills
  this into a hypnotic trip of distortion\, melody\, and trance-inducing at
 mosphere. With Vanessa Toyn on vocals\, Danny Durie on guitar\, Stephen Sh
 irley on drums\, and Jack Oatway on bass\, Suspicious Liquid invite listen
 ers to step into the haze. RUNA: RUNA is an electrifying artist whose jour
 ney from her small-town origins in southern Italy to the vibrant streets o
 f Leeds has shaped her into a captivating force in the indie music scene. 
 BBC Introducing Leeds aptly describes her sound as “mesmerising and haun
 ting\,” a reflection of her unique ability to weave raw emotion into eve
 ry note. Her lyrics are born from a rich blend of personal experience and 
 cultural heritage. As a queer woman\, RUNA channels the complexities of id
 entity\, love\, and longing into each track. Her voice carries the weight 
 of her southern Italian roots\, deeply rooted in pagan traditions and a la
 ndscape brimming with history and emotion. This fusion of past and present
  creates a sound that is both timeless and profoundly intimate\, speaking 
 to anyone who has ever felt like an outsider or navigated the delicate bal
 ance between heritage and self-expression. SPRINGTAILS: Springtails are a 
 indie rock / alternative rock band based out of York. Consisting entirely 
 of students from York St John University\, they write songs that are fast 
 paced\, and energetic. They also do covers of bands such as Franz Ferdinan
 d\, Bloc Party and The Strokes and have played at venues across York inclu
 ding The Fulford Arms\, The Crescent and Micklegate Social as well as vari
 ous university led events. Semi-finals: 1 - Sat 27th February 2 - Sun 28th
