Think drinks in the garden\, live music\, a few introductions to gro ups of people with similar interests\, and everyone single. No snow requir ed\, but we're bringing all the Après energy anyway. Your ticket includes : - being matched using our technology with groups of people who have simi lar interests - live music - après themed party vibes - light optional ic ebreakers - team haystack making introductions - access to our "missed con nections" programme where we invite people to connect who didn't exchange phone numbers (please note this is dependent on both sides expressing inte rest and there is a process in place) The plan: From 6pm - arrive\, grab a drink and chat to some new people (94% of people come alone and we float around making intros). Consider this your gentle warm-up run before the ma in event. 7:30pm - head to your first table to meet a group of people who we've used science to curate you with. Nothing intense\, just a half an ho ur drink in the sun with people with similar interests\, age appropriate a nd who also happen to be single. We've updated our tech so groups are now optimised for both romantic and platonic matches\, e.g. people of your gen der who we hope could become mates. The whole point of these tables is to feel like you're having a drink in the sun with friends\, with the added b onus of meeting new people and knowing everyone is single. Think of it as your own personal Après lodge\, minus the altitude\, and with significant ly less risk of frostbite. After half an hour\, we'll take a short drinks/ bathroom break\, grab a refill\, catch your breath\, then you'll meet two more tables of people that we've curated\, again for two 30 minute session s. Three rounds\, just like a proper day on the slopes\, one warm-up\, one main run\, one victory lap. 8:30pm - your second run of the day. We have worked very hard to make events for single people that do n't feel like a typical "dating event" which we know can feel very overwhe lming. We just hire out great venues\, invest into fun entertainment\, and match single people together into groups on the evening so you can go on multiple dates in a low-pressure environment. There are always new dating apps popping up\, which all have the same culture of ghosting\, shallownes s\, and let's be honest we can barely keep up with our family's whatsapp c hat let alone a dating app. What are our dating events? Our events use the power of tech to connect similar single people together. When you arrive to the venue you'll be greeted by our lovely reps\, and then you'll be int roduced to your matched group. Depending on the event we will introduce yo u to another one or two rounds of single people\, where we match you by di fferently weighting the parameters of the algorithm. We re-invest profit i nto fun entertainment on the evening so you have a great night regardless - and host a range of events from relaxed drinks in a beer garden\, to som ething a bit more active like arcade games\, to sporty events such as tag rugby or rock climbing. How do you match single people? When you buy a tic ket you fill out a short form with some questions about yourself mapped ar ound research we conducted to what leads to meaningful connections. We the n run this through our algorithm which is a propietary points based matchi ng system using python to detect similarities between each person based on different parameters. We then spend hours going through each person to ma ke sure there has been no discrepancies in the data and even more hours to make sure the group ages and ratios are appropriate. Afterwards we analys e each table to make sure they are placed near tables we think we will mat ch well\, and that are in the best place in the venue based on what we kno w about the group. We’re a sociable bunch an d always like to take short video clips for our social media. We’ll alwa ys avoid faces wherever possible\, but if you’d rather stay 100% off cam era please just come and let the team know on the night so we can make a c onscious effort to keep you out of any frame! What's the cancellation poli cy? There’s a huge amount of work behind the scenes before events to get everyone matched into great groups. If you need to transfer your ticket t o a friend\, we do ask please that you pop us an email with their name 7 d ays before an event so we can move things around. As with every other even ts company in our space\, we are unable to facilitate refunds\, but we wil l always do our 100% best to find a solve!x What’s the age group? The av erage age is 33 but we tend to attract from early 20s to mid 40s and group ings take age into account. Is this event wheelchair accessible? Yes\, we will never work with a venue that isn’t :) Is this a speed dating event? Absolutely not. The thought of having to effectively pitch yourself\, eve ry two minutes\, to a stranger\, is our worst nightmare and feels the furt hest thing in the world away from natural. These events are designed to fe el organic and literally like you're having a drink with a group of new fr iends\, in a great venue. You'll never see or feel any of the science we d o behind the scenes and we match in groups to take the pressure off a one on one meet-up.
