 entary about a violent\, state-run system of eugenics\, racial absorption
 \, and social assimilation in Twentieth Century\, Western Australia. For t
 he more than six decades between 1905 and 1972\, thousands of mixed-race A
 boriginal children in Western Australia were forcibly removed from their f
 amilies. Systematically organized by the State\, overwhelmingly supported 
 by West Australian society\, generation after generation\, for over sixty 
 years\, the State worked to destroy Aboriginal families\, culture\, and la
 nguage\, for the purpose of securing white\, settler dominance.\nCULTURE I
 N ACTION: This year marks the inaugural year of CJFF's Culture in Action i
 nitiative\, filling The Confluence with art and performance for all three 
 days of the festival. We invite you to arrive early and stay late to exper
