  extended set\, joined by two of Austin’s most thoughtful selectors\, Br
 ad Duke and Brett Johnson.\n\nOne of the defining figures of minimal house
  and techno\, Daniel Bell helped shape a stripped-down musical language bu
 ilt around repetition\, reduction\, and groove. After becoming involved wi
 th Richie Hawtin and John Acquaviva’s Plus 8 Records in Detroit\, Bell w
 ent on to establish Accelerate Records and develop the distinctive DBX sou
 nd: skeletal rhythms\, elastic basslines\, subtle shifts\, and carefully p
 laced details that create tension without excess. His signature track “L
 osing Control” became an underground classic and remains one of the clea
 rest expressions of that approach.\n\nBell’s influence extends well beyo
 nd his own productions. Through 7th City Distribution and his involvement 
 with labels including 7th City\, Elevate\, and Harmonie Park\, he helped c
 onnect independent Detroit and Midwestern electronic music with a wider in
 ternational audience. His DJing developed around the same philosophy as hi
 s records: long\, hypnotic sequences where house and techno are reduced to
  rhythm\, space\, and carefully controlled change.\n\nFor this edition of 
 Audiation\, Daniel will have room to stretch out with an extended set\, al
 lowing that approach to unfold naturally over time. Expect repetition\, fu
 nk\, restraint\, and the kind of subtle progression that rewards staying w
 ith the journey.\n\nJoining him is Brad Duke\, formerly known as BD Slide.
  A seasoned selector whose relationship with DJing goes back decades\, Bra
 d brings a confident\, fluid approach shaped by years of playing\, collect
 ing records\, broadcasting\, and producing. His sets balance drive and nua
 nce\, moving naturally between textures while keeping the floor locked in.
 \n\nHis background includes co-hosting and DJing on Dallas’ long-running
  Edgeclub radio show\, residencies and club dates across Texas\, and more 
 recently performances with both Might Be Magic and Audiation in Austin. To
 day his sets move across a broad range\, with a particular pull toward gro
 ovy deep house\, minimal\, and dub techno.\n\nBrett Johnson brings a sound
  rooted in groovy\, bumping house\, with techno and acid woven throughout 
 and a warmth and soul that remain distinctly his own. A fixture in Austin
 ’s dance music community\, Brett has quietly built the kind of career th
 at speaks for itself\, with more than 100 records and remixes across label
 s including Classic Music Company\, Freerange\, Crosstown Rebels\, 20/20 V
 ision\, Get Physical\, Visionquest\, Cynosure\, and others.\n\nBehind the 
 decks\, that range has taken him to rooms including Fabric\, DC10\, Panora
 ma Bar\, Rex Club\, Smart Bar\, and Cocoon\, along with tours across Asia
 \, Australia\, and beyond. Back home\, he co-runs Might Be Magic with Clau
 dia Hernandez\, continuing to contribute to Austin’s scene through their
