 cent’s standing as one of the best British songwriters then a listen to

 ation and has toured the UK extensively and beyond with his band and as a 
 solo artist. September 2024 saw Robert perform an official showcase at Ame
 ricanaFest in Nashville and the year culminated with an invitation to supp
 ort Robert Plant & his band Saving Grace\, opening their shows in Antwerp
 \, Paris and across the UK.It is Vincent’s powerful and soulful voice th
 at has continually attracted acolytes such as Bob Harris\, Paul Carrack an
 d Mary Chapin Carpenter. In 2016\, Harris named Robert his ‘Emerging Art
 ist’ of the year" at the inaugural UK Americana Awards show describing V
 incent as ‘absolutely magnetic’ and ‘the real deal’. In 2018 follo
 wing the release of ‘I’ll Make The Most Of My Sins’ (AMAUK Album of 
 The Year 2018) Robert was invited to perform on the BBC ‘Old Grey Whistl
 e Test\, For One Night Only’ closing the show. It was this performance t
 hat would propel him to number 1 and 2 in the iTunes Album and Singles Cha
 rts.In 2020\, Robert’s third LP\, the critically-acclaimed ‘In This To
 wn You’re Owned’\, won the AMAUK’s ‘Album Of The Year’ award for
  2021 and Robert himself was awarded ‘Artist of The Year’. The record 
 also charted at number 2 in the UK Americana Charts and American Songwrite
 r Magazine named ‘In this Town You’re Owned’ in its top 20 albums (e
 very genre) of 2020.Robert continues to enthral audiences and critics alik

  Notable performances previously include 2023 Celtic Connections at Glasgo
 w Theatre Royal with Mary Chapin Carpenter\, showcase performances at Amer
 icana Fest in Nashville\, Tennessee\, supporting Roger Waters at Hyde Park
 \, Tours with Robert Plant\, Paul Carrack and Duane Eddy who gifted him wi
 th one of his signature ‘Gretsch’ guitars after his 80th birthday cele
 bration at The London Palladium. 2025 saw a return to Celtic Connections\,
  a tour of Norway\, and an EP of remarkably insightful covers with Anna Co
 rcoran. In 2026 he has been recording his new album - "Separate the Fictio
 n from the Fact" - he previewed some of the tracks and absolutely wowed Cu
 bley in February\, and for 2027 we'll be proudly part of the launch tour! 
 Our in-house critic considers his song "The Ending" to be "one of the best
  songs I've heard in years by anybody anywhere. Up there with Nick Lowe an
 d Jackson Browne". So good\, in fact\, that Mary Chapin Carpenter covered 
 it. Its only competition is other songs by Robert! Long Road Festival said

  fabulous set." Actually at Cubley the way Robert delivered the first line
