 \, and producer active from the late ’80s until his passing in 2015\, Yo
 kota moved fluidly between house\, techno\, and classical minimalism. But 
 it was his experimental ambient work that revealed his deepest gift for at
 mosphere and stillness.\n\nReleased in 1999\, Sakura is widely considered 
 his masterpiece. Built from delicate loops\, half-remembered melodies\, an
 d field recordings that blur the line between the natural and the electron
