 ends you to a place of soul and truth.\n\n“My music is a reflection of m
 y past and a meditation of our present. It is both a personal and sometime
 s political message exploring black and female liberation\, love gained an
 d love lost and anything I feel. I’m heavily influenced by Jazz\, Soul\,
  Hip Hop\, R&B and Reggae. I channel the experiences of my ancestors\, wom
 en and myself to conjure emotions to write and express”.\n\n------------
 --\n\nMarla Kether (DJ)\n\nBorn in London to Congolese parents\, Marla Ket
 her\nis a bassist\, producer and DJ. The\ndifferent strands of her musical
  career are almost as diverse as her selections\, which\ncommonly feature 
 a bass-led blend of Kuduro\, Dembow\, Afro House and Global Bass.\n-------
 -------\n\nRi Mistry\n\nis an emphatically London-based DJ. Her deep and c
 omprehensive knowledge of\nthe London club-scene comes from her previous w
 ork as a radio producer at Rinse FM and\ncurrent programmer for Colour Fac
 tory. She also throws nights with Social Records\nSociety\, using the plat
 form to spotlight DJs she backs and fulfil her passion for record\ndigging
