 rsary celebration.\n\nKing Changó’s explosive melting pot of ska\, regg
 ae\, dub\, cumbia\, Latin rhythms\, punk and rock helped establish the ban
 d as a pioneer of the Latin alternative movement. Released by David Byrne
 ’s Luaka Bop Records in 1996\, the album featured favorites including 
 “Melting Pot\,” “Latin Ska\,” “Confesión” and “Revolution/C
 umbia Reggae.”\n\nThe night is also a homecoming. It was at SOB’s that
  David Byrne first saw King Changó opening for Café Tacuba\, an encounte
 r that led to the band signing with his Luaka Bop label.\n\nThree decades 
 later\, MELTING POT ALL-STARS return to SOB’s to celebrate the 30th anni
 versary of the album\, the music they helped create\, and the wild cultura
 l melting pot that brought it all together.\n\nMELTING POT ALL-STARS featu
