 cumentary written and directed by Ian Daffern (Idfactory) telling the stor
 y of Toronto’s unique artist-run concert series and non-profit organizat
 ion. A who’s who of Canadian music\, this project was scored and mixed b
 y Justin Small (Do Make Say Think) and music supervised by Babs V. Westerh
 olm (Cue Queens) and features interviews with Melissa Auf der Maur (Hole\,
  Smashing Pumpkins)\, Emilie Hanskamp\, pHoenix Pagliacci\, Charles Speari
 n (Broken Social Scene)\, and Wavelength’s Jonathan Bunce (AKA Jonny Dov
 ercourt). Additional music by Burs\, Luge\, MOONBEAN\, Paul Chin\, Pony Da
  Look\, Rich Aucoin\, Sook-Yin Lee + more.\n\nA follow up to 2023’s accl
 aimed Reimagining Music Venues Study\, the launch of the “New Sounds\, N
 ew Space” report explores different pathways for establishing community 
 hubs for Toronto’s grassroots music community. With positive case studie

 mal Note Studios\, the report shines light on Toronto’s post-COVID music
  venue landscape while pointing the way forward for imaginative new spaces
