DESCRIPTION:Join us for Eyeworks Experimental Animation Series 2026! This y
 ear's LA festival features three programs\, starting with a screening of f
 ilms from the Whispering Pines series by Shana Moulton at 2pm. At 5:30pm a
 nd 8pm\, we follow with two different shorts programs of experimental anim
 ation.\n\nEach of the three individual programs are unique and feature dif
 ferent works.\n\nThe Eyeworks Experimental Animation Screening Series is a
 n annual festival focusing on experimental animation\, with screening even
 ts in Chicago\, LA\, and NY each fall. Eyeworks spotlights works made by i
 ndividual artists\, drawing on the tradition of classic cartoon animation 
 and the lineages of avant-garde and underground cinema. The aim of Eyework
 s\, now in its 15th year\, is to present works that celebrate animation as
  an experimental art form. Past guests with retrospective screenings are D
