An evening exploring the outer edges of electronic music\, where club rhyt
hms meet experimentation\, cultural influences\, and audio visual immersio
 n. Bringing together Siete Catorce (Mexico City)\, El Ángel Exterminador
(Vancouver)\, and Shikanji (Vancouver Island)\, the program showcases arti
sts who transform the dance floor into a space for discovery. The entire e
vening will feature live generative visuals from cy.matic (Vancouver).Expe
ct intricate percussion\, hypnotic groove\, and rich soundscapes\, invitin
g you to move and experience electronic music from new perspectives. \nSi
ete Catorce\nSiete Catorce is the project of Mexican producer Marco Polo G
utiérrez\, known for his distinctive fusion of Latin American rhythms and
experimental club music. Drawing from cumbia\, dubstep\, and pre-Hispanic
tribal sounds influenced by the Ruidosón movement\, his work creates a u
nique rhythmic language that is both deeply rooted and forward-looking. Wi
th a sound that balances dark atmospheres and infectious energy\, Siete Ca
torce has become a defining voice in Mexico’s evolving electronic music
landscape. He has delivered acclaimed sets at renowned festivals like MUTE
K Montreal\, MUTEK Mexico\, Boiler Room\, and Festival Nrmal. After more
than a decade of work\, multiple albums\, and the founding of his label Su
breal\, Siete Catorce continues to operate as a key figure in Latin club m
usic: influential\, consistent\, and deliberately outside the media spotli
 ght.\nhttps://sietecatorce.bandcamp.com/musichttps://soundcloud.com/sietec
atorce\nEl Ángel Exterminador\nAn audiovisual project of Max Ammo (Mexico
/Vancouver)\, El Ángel Exterminador explores electronic music as a space
for surrealism\, tension\, and transformation. Combining analogue hardware
\, digital production\, and experimental sound design\, the project develo
ps a distinctive approach to what it calls “thriller-electronics”\,
a collision of dark atmospheres\, spectral textures\, and immersive audiov
isual performance.Having shared stages with artists such as ZUTZUT\, Rosa
Pistola\, and Animistic Beliefs\, and performed at festivals like New Form
s and venues including the Polygon Gallery (VAN)\, El Ángel Exterminador
’s hybrid performances deliver sharp edges\, ethereal undertones\, and s
 pectral Latin American influences.\nhttps://soundcloud.com/el-angelextermi
nador\nShikanji \nShikanji is an experimental electronic music project ex
ploring the intersections of techno\, diasporic rhythms\, IDM\, and leftfi
eld club music. Shifting between hypnotic grooves\, fractured rhythms\, an
d richly layered textures\, Shikanji blurs the boundaries between experime
ntal listening and the dance floor\, inviting audiences into sets that are
  dynamic\, unpredictable\, and deeply immersive.\ncy.matic (VJ)\ncy.matic
’s visuals are a testing ground for investigating synesthetic experience
through audio-visual and spatial exploration. The work inhabits the inter
section of sound\, spatial design\, and generative graphics\, creating imm
ersive environments that evolve continuously and responsively to live audi
 o signals.\nhttps://www.instagram.com/_cy.matic_/\nPoster by @jai.ju and @
