 mless\, diverse life\, working countless menial labor jobs: dishwasher\, l
 andscaper\, lifeguard\, cook\, surfboard laminator\, road builder\, culmin
 ating with thirteen long years driving a taxi cab in New York City (where 
 he met David Byrne and signed to Byrne’s Luaka Bop record label).White h
 as just completed a memoir\, Incidental Contact\, which Mojo magazine desc
 ribed as being “Unputdownable”. Based on a series of uncanny coinciden
 ces that befell him during his days driving that taxi in New York City. Tw
 o chapters of Incidental Contact\, The Bottom and Superwhite\, have been p
 ublished in the literary music journal Radio Silence\, with Superwhite bei
 ng awarded a Pushcart Prize.White was a pro surfer. He served as literary 
 commentator for the National Endowment of the Arts. He was a European fash
 ion model. Samuel Beckett once played a practical joke on him. There’s l
 ots more non linear information that doesn’t really fit the usual bio fo
