DESCRIPTION:La Velada explores the meeting point between flamenco traditio
 n and the present moment. Inspired by the legacy of flamenco and those who
  danced before her\, Marta Gálvez transforms inherited movement and memor
 y into a personal\, contemporary expression?rooted in history yet unmistak
 ably of today. Born in Córdoba\, Gálvez began her flamenco training at a
 ge three and earned a degree in Spanish Dance from the Professional Dance 
 Conservatory. She later studied on scholarship at the Andalusian Dance Cen
 ter and has performed with leading companies including David Coria\, Marí
 a Pagés\, Úrsula López\, José Porcel\, and Juan Carlos Avecilla. Her h
 onors include the Outstanding Dancer Prize (2015) and the Young Flamenco A
 rtists Award from the Provincial Council of Córdoba (2023). The City of A
 ventura proudly partners with FUNDarte to present this performance as part
  of the FL.Flamencos series co-presented with the Miami-Dade County Audito
