DESCRIPTION:The art historian Magdalena Kolar takes you on a journey into t
 he artfully crafted worlds of the Prague-based artists’ collective led b
 y Matěj Forman. In this exhibition\, 16 Czech artists bring imagination t
 o life with their fantastical\, analogue spaces and objects – the guided
  tour takes you behind the scenes and offers an insight into the collectiv
 e’s ideas and personal stories: from individual craftsmanship to the gre
 at tradition of Czech puppet theatre.\n\nThese special guided tours are ta
 king place in collaboration with the Wunder. Festival\, which is celebrati
 ng two anniversaries this year: 30 years of the International Puppet Theat
 re Festival in Munich and 75 years of the Society for the Promotion of Pup
 petry (Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Puppenspiels e. V.). With a varied 
 programme for all generations\, the festival puts the spotlight on the uni
 que world of puppet and object theatre – thereby creating the ideal sett
 ing for the playful\, handmade worlds of the IMAGINARIUM.\n\nMAGDALENA KOL
 AR is an art historian and is currently working on her PhD at LMU Munich. 
 Her research focuses on Czech art of the early 20th century.\n\n**********
