 nstalment\, Colin Benders makes his Toronto debut\, bringing his full modu
 lar system to FORMAT. Everything happens live. Every kick\, bassline and t
 ransition created in the room.\n\nHis lockdown streams produced over a tho
 usand hours of recordings\, Floaty Things and the five-part album Rigmarol
 e. In his own words\, “if I don’t release anything\, I’m free to do 
 everything.”\n\nHenning Baer co-founded Grounded Theory in 2009. The par
 ty grew into one of the city’s most respected techno institutions\, with
  Baer behind the decks as its resident.\n\nHis records have appeared on So
 nic Groove\, Nonplus and K209. In 2016\, he launched MANHIGH. More than fi
 fteen years of Berlin techno\, record collecting and razor-sharp mixing ar
 riving behind the decks.\n\nToronto favourite Measure Divide started FORMA
 T when techno was nothing but a footnote in the city. More than a decade l
 ater\, the series has played a foundational role in building a community a
 nd culture that has put the city on the radar globally. His own path has l
 ed to Berghain\, Tresor\, K41 and Under Club\, with releases on Clergy\, M
 utual Rytm and\, most recently\, Air Texture.\n\nThe newest name on the li
 neup is Geneva. Embedded in the GTA underground\, she runs Hamilton-based 
 TREMA and draws from early techno\, electro and Detroit club music. Her wo
 rk extends beyond the booth through the parties she organizes and her advo
 cacy for safer dance floors.\n\nFour artists with Four projects built arou
