  intensive is directed towards brand new performers\, performers new to th
 e burlesque art form\, and burlesque performers with some experience looki
 ng to strengthen their foundational understanding and process. This series
  will focus on basic burlesque movements\, local and international history

 Bootcamp! This four-session series focuses on everything one would need to
  become a pin-up. Classes will move through hair\, make-up\, posing\, soci
 al media basics\, and an optional photoshoot with  professional photograp
 her Volumatic on the fourth day at Idle Eyes Studios (additional cost). Th
 e shoot will take place in a 1950s diner set--classic pin up!\nTassel Twir
 ling Workshop with Ivy La Fleur\nSunday October 18 at NoonCONNECTION Da
 nce Studio\nLearn to shimmy and shake those tassels! Tassel twirling? Asse
 ls? What's the difference? This class is all about those little hats we us
 e in burlesque to shake and shimmy across the stage. Led by Ivy La Fleur\,
  this workshop will break down the history and basics of tassel twirling f
 or all bodies. No previous experience required. Price of the workshop incl
 udes a basic pair of tassels\, but you are welcome to bring your own.\nOpe

 RONG! Rock N' Roll music plays a huge part in the Neo-Burlesque revival. I
 vy La Fleur is both a musician and burlesque dancer who will lead this wor
 kshop on how to pair movement (both improv and choreographed) to rock musi
 c. Focusing on musicality and maintaining stage presence\, this workshop w
 ill cover the grit and rock n' roll attitude in choreography and improvisa
 tion.\n \nFeather Fan Choreo Workshop with Bea Lissima\nSunday Novemb
 er 8 at 2:00PMCONNECTION Dance Studio\nThis workshop led by Bea Lissima w
 ill focus on feather fan dancing. Through sharing practical skills for car
 e\, hand positions\, and movement\, participants will apply these skills t
 o choreography. Participants are encouraged to provide their own fans if p

 leur\nSunday November 15 at NoonCONNECTION Dance Studio\nLearn to slow 
 down and focus on the connection between you and the audience. This movem
 ent based workshop with Ivy La Fleur will bring you back into the moment a
 nd help you find the fire that's in your bones.\nChoreography Workshop wi

 Led by Bitch Sassidy\, this movement-focused series is an opportunity to l
 earn to move like a burlesque artist! The power\, the sensuality\, the gra
 ce\, cheek\, and play. We will focus on empowerment\, precision\, improvis
 ation\, confidence\, and a combined physical-emotional build and release. 
 This choreography is not intended for performance\, but as a vessel to exp
 lore or try out burlesque\, to challenge and celebrate your beautiful self

 ide eye! Join this class to present your burlesque act\, and dig into the
