DESCRIPTION:Finn Rees is a Tasmanian born\, London based pianist\, composer
  and producer who has built up an eclectic reputation for his music work b
 oth in ‘Australia’ and internationally over the last decade. He has a 
 knack for capturing emotions and intriguing minds\, whatever medium he cho
 oses and can be seen performing and collaborating in some of the most forw
 ard thinking projects such as 30/70\, Close Counters\, Sholto\, Seed. Ense
 mble\, Allysha Joy\, Chip Wickham\, Audrey Powne and more.\n\nDrawn to jaz
 z from a young age his influences come from some of the most inventive jaz
 z artists such as Alice Coletrane\, Herbie Hancock\, McCoy Tyner\, Chick C
 orea or Brazilian legends Arthur Verocai or Azymuth. His debut record ‘D
 awn Is A Melody’ came out on tastemaker label Mr Bongo records in 2024. 
 This much anticipated venture into his solo work explores a new synergy be
 tween modal and spiritual jazz\, psychedelic soul\, lush orchestral arrang
 ements and heartfelt piano and features some of Melbourne’s finest music
 ians.\n\nThis special live show will feature support from British harpist 
 Rachel Kitchlew\, known for her blend of jazz and rhythmic ambient music. 
 As well as DJs from the iconic Mr Bongo\, the Brighton based independent r
 ecord label\, specialising in world music\, with releases from some of the
  finest Brazilian\, Latin\, reggae\, African and Jazz artists including Eb
 o Taylor\, Jorge Ben and more.\n\nThis event is promoted by Brick Lane Jaz
