 d by queer community?Join MODA's Queer Figure Drawing Night with Ashanti H
 ampton for Queer Across Generations\, a special session celebrating queer 
 bodies across time. For this gathering\, we'll welcome a queer elder as ou
 r model and make space to consider the beauty\, complexity\, and possibili
 ty of aging.So many of us carry questions about what it means to grow olde
 r: Will I be allowed to age? What does it look like to grow older in my bo
 dy and in my community? Through drawing\, we'll honor aging as something v
 isible\, beautiful\, and possible\, and celebrate the bodies and stories t
 hat have helped make queer community what it is today.Come draw\, observe\
 , reflect\, and share space across generations. Seasoned artists and first
 -timers are all equally welcome.What to expect:Doors open at 7pm. Enjoy th
 e museum after hours and mingle with fellow attendees.Sketching begins at 
 7:30pm.Draw a partially nude queer elder model in a series of timed poses:
  1-minute warm-ups\, longer poses\, and a final 20-minute sketch.Spend the
  evening observing the body with care and curiosity\, making space for the
  details\, textures\, gestures\, and presence that come with a life fully 
 lived.End the night with a relaxed sharing circle to show and discuss your
  work and reflect on the experience.Facilitated by Ashanti Hampton.BYOAS! 
 Bring your own art supplies. Communal supplies will also be available for

  a Georgia native from Stone Mountain\, discovered their passion for desig
 n while studying at Georgia Tech\, which led to a master’s in Industrial
  Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. During four years in New York\, th
 ey immersed themselves in a vibrant arts community\, joining gatherings th
 at blended creativity\, learning\, and connection. Now back in Atlanta\, A
 shanti aims to bring those same inspiring experiences to the community—a
 nd to MODA.By registering for this program each participant is agreeing to
  the following terms:Participants must be at least 18 years old or older. 
 Please bring a photo ID with you.Participants\, Model\, and Facilitator mu
 st be respectful of all bodies\, interactions\, and exchanges at all times
 .Participants must be registered for the workshop to attend.Do NOT take ph
 otographs of the model or your fellow participants and/or facilitator or d
 rawings.Do NOT record or play videos or music with digital devices during 
 the workshop.Do NOT touch the model\, or enter someone’s personal space\
 , whether in posed\, drawing\, or other positions during the course of the

 e to become?Join MODA's Queer Figure Drawing Night with Ashanti Hampton fo
 r Drag & Transformation\, a session that celebrates the process of becomin
 g rather than only the finished look. Our model will move through the ritu
 als of transformation\, applying makeup\, getting dressed\, adjusting clot
 hing\, and stepping into drag\, inviting participants to draw the body as 
 it changes\, prepares\, reveals\, and becomes.This is figure drawing as pr
 ocess: a chance to notice the gestures\, pauses\, textures\, and small act
 s of self-making that happen along the way. Come draw a transformation in 
 progress and explore how identity can be expressed through movement\, clot
 hing\, adornment\, and presence.Seasoned artists and first-timers are all
