 e now.\n\nDJ and producer Marcel Dettmann is recognized as one of the most
  influential proponents of contemporary techno. Widely associated with ico
 nic places such as Berlin\, Berghain\, and Hard Wax\, Dettmann stays true 
 to his roots while consistently innovating his interpretation of electroni
 c music and integrating art with the scene.\n\nActive since the mid-’90s
 \, Dettmann tirelessly searches for new ideas and inspiration to further d
 evelop his own concept of electronic music. His labels MDR (Marcel Dettman
 n Records) and Bad Manners serve as platforms for shaping his musical visi
 on and launching new talent onto the techno scene. As a curator and produc
 er\, Dettmann fosters a creative approach that is both timeless and innova
 tive. His own releases include three albums on Ostgut Ton and\, most recen
 tly\, his first album in ten years\, Fear of Programming\, via Dekmantel R
 ecords.\n\nOutside of the club context\, Marcel Dettmann has established h
 imself as a multifaceted artist. He designed the sound concept for New Wor
 ks\, an exhibition by photographer Friederike von Rauch\, and contributed 
 to the contemporary dance project Masse\, alongside Frank Wiedemann and ch
 oreographer Nadja Saidakowa\, in cooperation with Berghain and the Berlin 
 State Ballet. His single “Seduction feat. Emika” provided the soundtra
 ck to director and screenwriter Parker Ellerman’s short film of the same
  name. He also contributed to the soundtrack of The Matrix Resurrections\,
