DESCRIPTION:Francisco López is one of the most relevant sound artists and 
 avant-garde experimental musicians of today. Winner of the Qwartz Award fo
 r best sound anthology and recipient of five honorary mentions from Ars El
 ectronica\, he has spent four decades developing an astonishing sonic univ
 erse based on a profound listening to the world.\n\nOn October 10th\, Lóp
 ez will deliver his signature acoustic sonic experience through the use of
  multi-channel surround systems and blindfolds provided to the audience\, 
 for what he calls a ‘monomedia situation’ and a ‘voluntary commitmen

 ramme for Auris\, Manchester’s first dedicated sound art festival\, 9–
