 erformer and producer based in New Orleans. He is a 6x GRAMMY-winner and 2
 2x GRAMMY nominee who has earned numerous nominations for BET\, Soul Train
  and NAACP Image Awards\, in addition to selling out countless shows at hi
 storic venues like the Apollo Theater and others around the world. On top 
 of running his own record label (Morton Records) and serving as Maroon 5's
  full-time keyboardist for the past 15 years\, he has collaborated with St
 evie Wonder\, Erykah Badu\, Jon Batiste\, Nas\, Lil Wayne\, JoJo\, Jill Sc
 ott and many others.<br><br>PJ Morton is also the first Black composer to 
 ever write an original song for a Disney attraction\, Tiana's Bayou Advent
 ure\, now open at both Disney World and Disneyland. His latest solo album\
 , Cape Town to Cairo\, was fully created during a 30-day trip across Afric
 a\, and in his debut memoir\, Saturday Night\, Sunday Morning (Worthy Publ
 ishing / Hachette Book Group)\, Morton recounts and reflects upon a trailb
 lazing path that continues to defy expectations and straddle the tensions 
 of music and faith\, race and culture\, expression and identity. Recently\
 , he has ventured further into the worlds of film and television &ndash\; 
 writing the closing song for Regina King's Netflix film Shirley\, producin
 g music for Dr. Seuss&rsquo\;s Red Fish\, Blue Fish on Netflix &ndash\; as
