DESCRIPTION:Giampaolo Bandini and Cesare Chiacchiaretta form one of today
 ’s leading ensembles dedicated to the music of Argentina\, blending the 
 expressive power of classical guitar and bandoneon with extraordinary arti
 stry and stage charisma. Celebrating over eighteen years of collaboration
 \, the duo has become a major presence on the international concert scene
 \, touring more than fifty countries and appearing regularly throughout Eu
 rope\, North America\, Asia\, and Latin America. Signed by Decca Records i
 n 2016\, the duo released their acclaimed debut album Escualo in 2017. The
 ir performances have brought them to major venues and festivals worldwide
 \, with recent engagements in Berlin\, Budapest\, Toronto\, and collaborat
 ions with renowned mandolinist Avi Avital. Upcoming seasons include tours 
 across the United States\, Canada\, Mexico\, China\, Korea\, Germany\, Aus
 tria\, and Poland. Bandini and Chiacchiaretta have performed Astor Piazzol
 la’s Hommage à Liège under the direction of legendary composer and con
 ductor Leo Brouwer\, who also composed and dedicated a new work to the duo
  in 2017. They are frequently invited as soloists with orchestras includin
 g the Baden-Baden Philharmonic\, Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra\, Philh
 armonic Orchestra of Kiev\, and orchestras throughout Europe\, Asia\, Mexi
 co\, and the United States. Their artistry has inspired important composer
 s such as Daniel Binelli and Máximo Diego Pujol\, whose concerto Luminosa
  Buenos Aires was dedicated to the duo and later recorded for internationa
 l release. Their first recording\, Hombres de Tango\, sold more than ten t
 housand copies and established them as leading interpreters of tango and A
 rgentine repertoire. Beyond the concert stage\, both artists are active ed
 ucators and frequently present masterclasses at international festivals\, 
 conservatories\, and universities. They currently teach at the Institutes 
 of Higher Education “Luigi Boccherini” in Lucca and “Umberto Giordan
 o” in Foggia. Giampaolo Bandini performs on a Dennis Tolz guitar and is
