 nn. Popp studierte Jazzschlagzeug in München und bewegt sich mit seiner S
 oloarbeit und Projekten wie ‚Fazer‘\, ‚9ms‘\, ‚Poeji‘ und ‚P
 olygonia & Simon Popp‘ an den Schnittstellen von Jazz\, Ambient und elek
 tronischer Musik. Seine Solo-Alben ‚Laya‘\, ‚Devi‘ und ‚Blizz‘
  fanden international\, besonders in der Vinyl-Szene\, großen Anklang. So
  lobte The Line Of Best Fit: „this is music you can get totally lost in
 \, where the lines between organic and electric are blurred so as to be in
 distinguishable“. Neben Anerkennung von Magazinen wie Clash\, Juno und R
 ansom Note fühlte sich Bleep an die Musik der experimentellen Größen Ph
 ilip Glass und Steve Reich erinnert. 2023 wurde Simon Popp mit dem Förder
 preis für Musik der Landeshauptstadt München ausgezeichnet. 2025 wurde e
