 scientists from more than 40 countries. In retirement\, he and his wife\, 
 Connie\, have traveled across six continents in search of the world’s bi
 rds and wild places. For this program\, Volkert heads to Siberia\, sharing
  his travels to Lake Baikal — the world’s oldest and deepest freshwate
