  rock band Tourist are back with a new single and a new chapter\, announci
 ng their Single Release Tour\, including a headline show at Whammy Bar\, A
 uckland\, on Thursday 29 October. The band will celebrate the release of t
 heir new single “My Everywhere” with a powerful live set showcasing th
 eir distinctive blend of cinematic rock\, soaring guitars and anthemic son
 gwriting. Tourist have a history that reaches well beyond the New Zealand 
 scene. Originally formed in Aotearoa in the early 2000s\, the band have to
 ured extensively in New Zealand and internationally\, including the UK\, a
 nd have shared the stage with major international acts including Snow Patr
 ol (UK). Their songwriting has also attracted international recognition\, 
 with Tourist becoming finalists in the International Songwriting Competiti
 on (ISC) and securing US publishing\, including features in major Hollywoo
 d productions including indie cult classic The Butterfly Effect 2. Alongsi
 de local and international radio chart success (#1 95bFM) and a strong rep
 utation as a live act\, the return of Tourist marks an exciting new era fo
 r a band with unfinished business. “My Everywhere” is the first taste
