DESCRIPTION:1817 fand Hortense de Beauharnais (1783–1837) nach dem Sturz
  ihres Stiefvaters und Schwagers Napoleon Zuflucht in Augsburg zusammen mi
 t ihrem Sohn Charles Louis Napoleon (1808–1873)\, der ab 1848 Präsident
  Frankreichs und ab 1850 als Napoleon III. französischer Kaiser wurde. Zw
 ischen 1821 und 1823 besuchte der kleine Napoleon das Gymnasium bei St. An
 na. Im sogenannten „Franzosenschlösschen“ in der Heilig-Kreuz-Straße
  befanden sich auch einige Musikinstrumente\, und aus diesen Jahren stamme
 n wohl auch einige der vielen wunderbaren Chansons\, die Hortense samt ein
 er weiteren offiziellen französischen Nationalhymne eigenhändig komponie
