 uitarist Yury Hermuche met in December 2005 in São Paulo\, Brazil\, they 
 began to shape their own blend of heavy\, hypnotic psychedelia\, space roc
 k\, and shoegaze. Over two decades\, they built a reputation for intense l
 ive performances and albums\, releasing 13 LPs to date\, in both the Unite
 d States and the United Kingdom. Firefriend has established itself as one 
 of the most intriguing under-the-radar names in contemporary psychedelic r
 ock. In April 2025\, the band welcomed drummer Ricardo Cifas and synth/key
