  and storytelling - Fabienne Ambuehl is known for her vibrant contemporary
  jazz\, weaving together elements of poetry and storytelling. Her latest a
 lbum Thrive (2025)\, released on Ubuntu Music\, won “Jazz Recording of T
 he Year” at the 2025 Presto Music Awards. The music of the London-based
 \, Swiss-born pianist\, singer and composer receives widespread acclaim fr
 om the international jazz press and had a lot of radio play on BBC Radio 3
  and JazzFM UK. With fluid\, expressive piano playing and emotive vocals\,
  her sound is lyrical and rich in detail\, drawing inspiration from both t
 he natural world and urban life. The debut album Glitterwoods (Traumton\, 
 Berlin)\, was named ‘Album of the Year’ by UK Vibe and she has since p
 erformed with different artists internationally\, including a musical resi
 dency in Senegal funded by Arts Council England and appearing as the impro
 vising soloist with Jazzchor Freiburg at the Eurovision Choir contest in R
 iga\, Latvia. Ambuehl leads a quartet featuring some of the UK’s most in
 -demand jazz musicians. The quartet’s performances are engaging and ener
 getic. With compelling rhythms and influences ranging from blues and Brahm
 s to The Beatles\, the band creates a sound that is daring yet intimate\,
