 son has been a fixture on the Canadian jazz scene for over thirty-five yea
 rs. He has performed internationally with artists including Lee Konitz\, J
 erry Bergonzi\,  Michael and Randy Brecker\, Pat LaBarbera\, Kirk MacDona
 ld\, Kenny Wheeler and John Abercrombie. He is a multiple JUNO award winne
 r. As a sideman\, he has played on over eighty recordings. For the past tw
 o years\, he has been an active member of the Canadian Jazz Collective\, t
 ouring and recording in Europe and North America.\nThe Penderecki String Q
 uartet\, approaching the third decade of an extraordinary career\, has bec
 ome one of the most celebrated chamber ensembles of their generation. Thes
 e four musicians from Poland\, Canada and the USA bring their varied yet c
 ollective experience to create performances that demonstrate their “rema
 rkable range of technical excellence and emotional sweep” (Globe and Mai
 l). Their recent schedule has included concerts in New York (Weill Hall at
  Carnegie Hall)\, Amsterdam (Concertgebouw)\, Los Angeles (REDCAT at Disne
