 \, and later based in Chicago\, he has gained national and international r
 ecognition for his work\, including making history as the first male winne
 r of the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. H
 is voice is noted for its flexibility\, smooth tone\, and ability to bridg
 e multiple musical traditions\, from jazz and gospel to opera and contempo
 rary music.\n\nIn addition to his performance career\, Allen is an accompl
 ished educator and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Voice at 
 Berklee College of Music. He has performed with renowned artists such as J
 acob Collier\, Coldplay\, and Faith Hill\, and has appeared on Grammy-nomi
